Junior QA Automation Engineer

Location: Englewood, CO

iLending is hiring an experienced Junior QA Automation Engineer. We are looking for full-time, career-oriented individuals who want to join a fun and energetic company.

LOCATION: The position is on-site in the Englewood Office. To be considered for this position, you must be local to the Denver Area, or moving to the Denver Area. Relocation assistance is not provided.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

In this role, the Junior QA Automation Engineer will work closely with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers to ensure the quality and performance of our software applications. This role will contribute to the design, development, and execution of automated test scripts and help maintain and improve our test automation framework. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while learning from experienced professionals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Test (manual and automated) current and future products and identify deficiencies
  • Suggest solutions to product problems
  • Investigate product quality to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction
  • Plan, create and manage the overall Automated Quality Assurance Program and Processes
  • Collaborate with the Product Management and Development teams to ensure consistent project execution
  • Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement
  • Oversee continuous improvement projects in quality
  • Collect quality data
  • Identify key KPIs for product quality
  • Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management

EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer
  • 2+ years of experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies and other
  • 3 years of experience with software development using .Net, HTML5, SQL, RESTful API
  • 3 years of experience with software QA tools and processes
  • 1-3 years of experience testing products, websites and applications hosted on the cloud
  • 3 years of experience in automation tools like cypress, JMeter, selenium etc. and processes like functional, integration, regression and performance
  • At least 1 year of experience with web security technology
  • Experience in agile methodology, scrum framework

Hiring Salary Range:

  • $70,000.00 to 90,000.00 annually
  • Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity
  • For Regular Full-Time Salaried and Hourly positions, Includes Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401(k) match.
